This year we started the science curriculum by learning about the six kingdoms of biology. Students researched the kingdoms online and created Power Point Presentations to share their wealth of information.

Project 2- Students explored the diverse life forms of the Galapagos Islands. These organisms are what inspired Charles Darwin's theory of evolution. Since the 1800s when he explored the Islands, concerns are raised that pollution and other factors are effecting the creatures. One creature we learned about is George, a giant tortoise. Students wrote letters to the government of Ecuador letting them know about what is hurting George and how we can help save him!
